Section 179
Many work trucks and vans over 6,000 lb GVWR qualify for accelerated depreciation under Section 179 and bonus depreciation — often a large share of the purchase price in the year the truck goes into service. Your tax advisor makes the call; we'll give you the GVWR, in-service dates and paperwork to make it easy.
